With both an MD and PhD from the esteemed Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Dr. Leung's foundation in medicine and molecular biology distinguishes him as a clinician deeply rooted in research and innovation.

His training and leadership roles at the University of Texas Health System—including positions as Chief Resident, Assistant Medical Director, and Assistant Professor—have shaped his holistic approach to mental health. He brings extensive experience from world-renowned centers such as MD Anderson, Memorial Hermann, Dunn Behavioral Sciences Center, and Maui Memorial Medical Center with expertise that encompasses both inpatient and outpatient care.

With a strong academic background and years of clinical depth experience, Amy brings a seasoned perspective to the team. She earned her undergraduate degree in Neuroscience (UT San Antonio) before completing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (UT Permian Basin) and her Master of Science in Nursing (UT Health Science Center at San Antonio).

Since 2019, Amy has managed both acute and chronic conditions across diverse settings, including inpatient, outpatient, intensive outpatient, and partial hospitalization programs serving ages 4 and above. This extensive experience with children, adolescents, and adults allows her to navigate even the most complex psychiatric presentations with calm and clinical expertise.
